Shula greets her guests with a warm welcome, invites them to the family living room where tables full with the very best starters await them, alongside cold beverages and Kurdish bread baked by Shula.
Next Shula brings out the hot food: Kube, rice, beans, cutlets and more.
Towards the end of the meal, Shula tells the guests her personal story and the story of her family, ending by performing in song, inviting her guests to join in.
It is a unique hospitality experience that includes a visit to the home of a family that had been living in this pastoral settlement for many years, in spite of the difficult days it knew due to its location literally on the Lebanese border; and a meeting with this special woman who worked as a kindergarten teacher for thirty three years and upon her retirement had retrained and made a career change into hospitality and tourism.
In addition, Shula conducts Kurdish cuisine cooking workshops at her home, accompanying participants until the Kurdish delicacies are ready.
