A rustic eastern style restaurant located inside a cave that served as a pen for goats until the 1990’s.
The fact that the restaurant is situated inside a cave instills a special atmosphere. The ceiling is curved and in some places low, yet does not create a claustrophobic atmosphere; on the contrary, windows that were opened in the cave, allow light to enter and face a large surrounding the restaurant; and people who still feel claustrophobic can always eat on the terrace overlooking the view of Peki’in.
The restaurant is owned by a family that is considered a family of cooks, whose members worked in other restaurants until they decided to open up a place of their own.
Diners will not find here a neat written menu, and will have to rely on the chef’s recommendation, that includes: an assortment of salads and grilled meats, as well as authentic local cuisine dishes, such as: Maskhan – a delicacy consisting of chicken cooked in a Taboon with onions and sumac, served over pita; Mansaf made of an assortment of meats, and Siniya. The modest restaurant, offers its food at more than reasonable prices, and is very well liked by the locals, a fact that makes it authentic and reliable for outsiders as well.
