Amar is running a variety of workshop activities, teaching stone masonry.

The workshop, which takes about an hour and a half, opens up with a film screening of Acre, and a genuine Arab coffee, cookies and cakes aside.

During the workshop every participator gets a piece of marble stone, on which he/she draws whatever crosses her/his mind.

It can be a flower, a heart, or ones private name or surname. Later on Amar would teach him to engrave it, using a chisel and a hammer.

At the end of the workshop the sculptured stone can be taken home.

The study utilizes thousands years old traditional methods, Aong the workshop Amar explains about the masonry tools, the historic background of the stones and the buildings as well as the preservation of those buildings.

Some other workshops that are taking place in Al Madrassa are stone arc structures and the formation of mud bricks.

The workshop can include a tour along the magical allies of Acre, during which Amar tells the story of the Acre stones, the building methods, the arcs, the private architectural domes and the historical houses.

Workshops prices:

Up to 15 people – 80 NS each

Children to the age of 6 – free of charge.

A single person or a couple 150NS

For a tour in Acre’s allies – an extra payment of 50NS per person.

The workshops and tours take place during all the days of the week, coordinated.
